Whilst working abroad I became intersted in social and community problems, which led me to higher education, when I attended Sheffield Hallam University betweeen 1991 and 1994. I gained an understanding of sociology, psychology and interpersonal communication.

Since completing my degree I have worked extensively for 12 years with vulnerable people from all income brackets and sectors of society. I have worked with single homeless young people and homeless families with children in resettlement, individuals who misuse drugs and alcohol, people with mental and physical health problems, ex-offenders, women fleeing domestic abuse and male and female survivors of sexual/physical abuse. I spent the first ten years in front line face-to-face support.

My aspiration is for individuals in therapy to take control of their lives
by utilising more effective ways of coping with the aid of
hypnotherapy, EFT and NLP techniques.
